This type of cooling towers works on the principle of counter flow. Superflow SCFT-1110 Series Cooling Towers utilize the induced draught counter flow principle of operation. Heated water enters via the hot water inlet passing through perforated branch pipes spreading the water evenly by the splash caps. Water is distributed over the heat exchange fill. Water flows as a thin film downward through the fill coming into direct contact with ambient air traveling upwards in a counter flow direction.
Water cooling is affected by heat transfer to the air in the form of evaporation and convention. To prevent carry – over of water droplets by the fan, drift eliminators are mounted above the water distribution. The drift eliminator controls drift loss to less than 0.02 % of water in circulation.

Great flexibility is introduced by multi-cell cooling towers which can be tailored to meet individual cooling requirements and conditions. This design also assures a high degree of availability. Square Shape FRP Cooling Tower installed independent of wind direction

FRP Cooling towers are of vertical induced draft counter flow design with uniform water distribution and optimal heat transfer. Towers can be installed independent of wind direction. The tower casing is made from tough fiberglass and has sufficient strength to withstand high velocities and vibrations. The water collection sump is leak proof and avoids water spillage.

The performance of cooling tower greatly depends upon the water distribution over the fills. ABC nozzles distribute water evenly through a wide spray angle without any dry pockets. The fill is of rigid Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) and is of honeycomb design with very large contact surface area.

Superflow panels/casing sheets is constructed from FRP molded panels. All joints sealed with water proof compound and bolted together with galvanized Steel bolts or stainless Steel bolts unless specified otherwise. Additional embossing is done for extra strength.

Automatic rotary sprinkler system made of Nylon 66 material, with rotary head and sprinkler pipe distributes the hot water over the entire space of the filler. Sprinkler pipes are non-clogging, require low pressure to operate and assures uniform water flow.with minimum operating pumphead.

General fill consists of Honeycomb/ Film Fills, Ring Type PVC, PP Fills are used for extended contact area having high transfer efficiency.

Superflow cast Aluminium alloy FRP fan is of aero dynamic designed axial flow type to achieve high efficiency.

Non clog type spray nozzles made of ABC or special plastic.

To reduce carry out losses through entrainment of moisture ropes in the air stream by specially designed multi blade rotary drift eliminator made of FRP/Aluminium sheets.

Special low RPM totally enclosed motors of Vertical, Flange type with enlarged & threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is also weather proof and in IP-55 construction.

The hot water is raised by hot water riser & taken inside by a M.S.H.D.G./P.V.C. hot water header inside. Branch distribution pipes fitted with Polypropylene Splash cups/non-clogging nozzles are connected to hot water header and uniform water distribution over entire fill is achieved. It is totally maintenance free distribution.

3TR to 1500TR in single cell. Larger capacities are available in multiple cell construction.
